Booking advice

When to book ahead

  • December–February: book 4–8 weeks ahead, especially Dasada lodges.
  • Navratri (both) and Tarnetar: book 6+ weeks ahead; prices rise and rooms vanish.
  • Uttarayan weekend: a week ahead is usually enough.
  • Monsoon: walk-in is fine almost everywhere.
