City buses cover the town; GSRTC state buses reach every taluka (Chotila, Thangadh, Dhrangadhra, Dasada). Cheap and reliable, if not fast.
🚕 Taxis & hired cars
The honest way to do Chotila or the Rann: hire a car with driver by the day. Chotila round trip ~₹1,800–2,500; Dasada day ~₹3,500+.

The Rann rule
Inside the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary you must use a registered gypsy with an approved driver — your own car cannot enter. Arrange the jeep and permit through your Dasada lodge or at the forest gate.
