Varnindra Dham, Patdi — marble on the Rann's edge
An ornate Jain dham complex at Patdi, about 85 km from the Junction and close to the Little Rann's northern edge. For pilgrims a destination; for travellers a beautiful, calm stop on the way to or from the safari.
The dham
What to expect
Varnindra Dham is a modern Jain complex built in white marble — ornate shikharas, carved pillars and a peaceful courtyard that feels a world away from the salt flats a few kilometres out. It's a working pilgrimage site, so dress modestly, follow the sanctum rules, and give yourself time to simply sit in the courtyard.
પાટડીનું વર્ણિન્દ્ર ધામ સફેદ આરસનું ભવ્ય જૈન સ્થળ છે — રણની ધાર પર શાંતિનું મંદિર.
